The Donald Woods Foundation Donald Woods Foundation was involved in setting up and HIV/ARV program and a program for orphans and vulnerable children in the community. Rural Doctors Association All of the doctors at Madwaleni feel supported by RUDASA and have found the relationships they have made through it to be very helpful.
Rural Rehab South Africa Our rehab team is still in the early stages of development, and rural rehab has some of its own specific challenges. RuReSA is a fantastic support and source of resources for the team.
Ikhaya Loxolo Literally meaning 'Home of Peace' this is a residential home for the mentally disabled built and run on a non-profit basis by a German couple Alex and Michael Gunther. Our rehab team work with them in caring for the disabled.
African Health Placements AHP has been very helpful in appointing doctors to work in the hospital. Currently four of the ten doctors working at Madwaleni were recruited by AHP. We have three doctors from the Netherlands - one of which is a specialist in TB. And an American paediatrician also joined the team in 2013.
